Announcing the Quiltique 2012 Bag Challenge! Are you as in love with all the wonderful purse patterns out today as we are? Whether you’re a bag novice or a purse pro, this is your chance to make a beautiful bag that suits your style… and have a chance at winning some great prizes! Starting February 13th, come into the shop to pick a “mystery pattern bag.” The outside of each mystery bag will be labeled with the supplies required to make the purse inside. Each bag sells for $12.00, and will have in it a mystery bag pattern and a complete copy of the rules. Shop that day for the fabric, stabilizers or notions you’ll need to make your purse and you’ll get a 20% discount on your supplies. Though the purse has to stay true to the pattern (no making design changes!), you get to pick your own fabrics and add whatever embellishments you like. Return your completed purse to the shop by March 30th to be entered in the 2012 Bag Challenge. Starting April 1st, entries will be displayed in the shop for customer voting. On April 30th, the voting will cease and the top purses will win the following prizes:
1st Place: $75 Quiltique Gift Card 2nd Place: A selection of 5 purse patterns 3rd Place: “The Bag Bible” book
One entry per customer, please. A complete list of the rules is available at the shop. All entrants will receive a $5 gift card for their participation.
