SATURDAY, JULY 19, 2008……10 am-4 pm
Fee…….$45
Boxed Lunch available for $10
Experienced Beginner/Intermediate
Learn
the easy technique to make a beautiful trapunto pillow cover. Once you
learn the trick to unravel the mystery of trapunto, you will be amazed at
the possibilities. Christine only requires that you have some previous
free-motion machine quilting experience and that you are fearless! You
will make the front of the 18" x 18" pillow cover in class and
finish the back at home with the simple instructions given in class.
"I'm
going to teach you how to learn these designs so that you can actually
quilt them freehand on your own. I know the tricks and I can't wait to
share them with you!"
---Christine Maraccini
Christine
Maraccini discovered her love for quilting many years ago when she decided
to put her sewing skills to work making baby quilts for friends who were
starting their families. She has been in love with this art form ever
since and continually looks for new approaches to the old standards.
Christine began a successful machine-quilting business in 2000 and since
then she has received various awards on the local and state level, had her
work published in American Patchwork and Quilting, and appeared on and
helped create a quilt for ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. We're
excited that Christine just recently moved here from Northern California.
Welcome Christine!
